9/11 Memorial Engraved Brick Order Form

On September 11, 2013, the Hauppauge Fire Department dedicated their 9/11 Memorial at the rear of the Main Firehouse on Wheeler Road. This dignified, beautiful memorial recognizes the lives lost on 9/11/2001 at the World Trade Center, the Pentagon and on Flight 93 in Shanksville, Pennsylvania. It is one of the few memorials that has a memento from each attack site – steel from the World Trade Center, a piece of The Pentagon and a piece of shale from the Flight 93 crash site in Shanksville, PA. These 3 sacred pieces are set in a base of Hudson River rock. A waterfall, spectacular landscaping and custom lighting add to the peace, serenity and beauty of the site. Our memorial is always open to the public.

On September 11, 2014, we added two “towers” equipped with custom designed blue LED lights that shoot two beams of light into the night sky. These are one of a kind and were custom built for the Hauppauge Fire Dept.

The meandering path leading to the memorial is lined with paving stones, many of them engraved in memory of family or friends. There are bricks available for engraving and all are invited to create a personalized brick in memory of a loved one while there is still room. Bricks are 6” by 9” and can be engraved with up to 15 characters per line, 4 lines maximum. The cost is $125 per brick. To order, please clearly fill out the form below and mail with a check made payable to the Hauppauge Fire Department 9/11 Fund. Mail to Hauppauge Fire Dept., Attn. 9/11 Fund,  855 Wheeler Road, Hauppauge NY 11788
